Jim published his first two books “Only Fourteen Days” and “Life with Danny” using the pen name Timothy James. Wanting to establish a stronger connection with his readers, he decided that future books will be published under his actual name Jim Haley.
The Danny Martin saga deals with real life and our responsibility to God. Every day we find a reason to put God aside and focus on the issues at hand. Then saying a few prayers at night let’s God know that we didn’t forget him all together.

The Danny Martin series is filled with intrigue, inspiration and romance. The characters will grab you right from the start and you will want to know more about them with every page.
Danny never knew his real father and lost his mother to cancer when he was only two years old. He was adopted and raised by the family his mother worked for and while he had everything he ever wanted; he still carried the trauma of losing his mother even from such a young age.
God had plans for him and Danny knew it. At six years old he challenged God and God answered. It was then that Danny understood his grace and grew into the man he is today. Endeavoring to take on life’s challenges and just Let God Happen.
Jim spent most of his adult life in the dry cleaning and automobile business but always remembered a teacher recommending that he try writing.
Growing up with a large family in a small town, life was simple. Right out of high school he met the love of his life, Jamie, and four years later they were married. Blessed with four children everything seemed perfect, and the years went by, but in the back of his mind always was that desire to tell a story.
As the kids grew, one by one they went off to college and got married and the blessings continued with grandchildren, but there was still something missing so one day he grabbed a keyboard, started typing and before he knew it his first book was a reality.
His wife was his biggest fan and insisted that he must continue and so he did, but halfway through his third book, he lost Jamie. This was devastating but with the support of his children and the thought of her encouragement and enthusiasm keeps him going.
